Thing was, I was just looking for a good distortion pedal and he recommend it cuz he wasn’t playing pedals anymore. I almost sold it, but then I noticed it sounded better than my amps mid-gain distortion channel. Kept it on my board and it’s never left, even when one on EBAY sold for over $700!!! Furthermore, Bjorn says it’s the 1st version #2 so it’s even more special now. Pretty good score, I think.

Very cool, the BBOD is really one of my all time favorite OD pedals of any sort. With something like 500 of them out there, I think it says a lot that you don't see too many come up for sale.

Ever since the BBOD, I've been hooked. I have all the od's except model H and R and the cliffhanger.

You should really get the cliffhanger! IMHO it stands alone as the king of the heavy distortion pedals in the line (Though i haven't tried the R). :king

Yeah I totally understand what you mean, I had my DRD for a long time now and was happy with it. Once I bought my BBOD, I'm hooked on BJFE.

Got a used PPF for 175 back in the day.
Also traded a BBOD for a pedal worth about 150 bucks.
Of course this was back in the musictoyz.com days 2003-2004.

My first BJFe score was an EGDM for 250 or 260 back in early 2006. My best score was a SBEQ for 205 off of eBay in late 2007.
