LGW - BJFE vs Mad Professor

Postby MBT74 » Wed Dec 07, 2011 9:32 am

I know this will have been discussed before but I'm curious if any opinions have changed over time so I'll ask again. :)

Is the MP version better, worse or the same as the BJFE version when it comes to sound, behaviour and feel?

Is it worth waiting to snag a BJF version or will I most likely not notice any difference if I just buy a MP one?

Thoughts? Opinions?

Many say the MP is 99% of the BJFE version. For me, I loved the BJFE so much I own two. Both are late models (#100+). There was a difference to my ear. It was slight, but it was there... more warmth, clarity, and articulation.

I've come to the same conclusion for my board. It took a lot of trial and error but there's just nothing I've played that matches the BJFE pedals. I include Donner's Bearfoot range in that statement because my Bearfoot HB is the nicest pedal I've played. :)
