Always blown-away by BJFe & Bearfoot

Postby cannikin » Wed Nov 23, 2011 3:00 pm

I just got the Model H and MGMV! I'm always blown-away by how amazing the BJFe pedals sound. My new Bearfoot Model H with my 65 Jaguar through a Vibroverb... wow! I have to say that I am officially a BJFe pedal snob, they are all magic and everything else is collecting dust on my shelf. Thank you Bjorn and Donner, I look forward to future creations!

Cheers!

I think most of on here would all agree. We cannot thank you enough.

Almost two years ago I purchased my first BJFE pedal (LGW from Eskimo Joe). When I joined the forum, I thought you all were crazy when I calculated the prices many of your rigs must have cost given the street price of the average BJFE pedal. Here I am a little further down the road having replaced almost every other pedal on my board with the BJFE version. No looking back. The only thing I am really holding out for is BJFE delay with modulation and a tap tempo. If only the Rocketride had a tap tempo...

The thing is you'll never outgrow them and everytime you'll turn them on you'll know why they are there on your pedal board. I love mine wish I had more and will look on expanding my collection once again. BearFoot FX has just made it incredibly affordable for every guitarist to discover BJ's work. While BJFe was only a boutique brand, I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of posts like this after BearFoot!

... thanks guys !! yup same thing happened to me years ago - as Bjorn slowly took over my board one spot at a time until it was complete .... and I never minded as Steve said you know why and its good to know you have what you actually need rather than compromising on something thats not quite satisfying...... more to come enjoy

It's sorta like getting bit by a bug... :love4

Many thanks to Donner & Bjorn.

I currently don't own any BJFE pedals, but have owned several.

I do now own several BF & one MP... which, aside from my tuner, dominate my 2 small boards.

I've always been way too crappy of a player to own the real BJFE thing... they're too good for me!

I've gone through a lot of overdrives in the past 12 months trying to find the right ones for me. In the end, with the exception of my King of the Britains, none have survived other than my Bearfoot OD's.

The Bearfoot Honey Bee continues to amaze me. It's seen off a swag of highly regarded pedals, the most recent being the King of Tone. I reckon it's better than them all.

Nothing I've found has the feel that the BF/Bjfe pedals do. Nothing I've found stacks together as well. They never sound like a pedal. They just sound and feel like someone's reached into my amp and changed its voice.

Here's hoping that Donner's planning a Bearfoot Model G. :pedallove

That's awesome! I totally agree with you about the King of the Britains. It is one of the few pedals that was able to survive the cut for a while on my board as well. I have a feeling the Bearfot Dyna Red Hot is about to be a killer though.
