Multiple EQ's in chain - BJFE SBEQ early or last?

Just thought I'd put this one up for discussion and see what people think.

I've got a SBEQ on the way and I plan to run it along with my Fromel Shape EQ. One EQ just before the OD pedals and one before my delay which is last before the amp. I use the Shape EQ to change the flavour of my amp tone depending on what I'm playing. It's always on.

So, now I know the answer is going to be "use your ears and go with what sounds best" but I thought I'd ask anyway. Anyone else running more than one EQ in the chain and would you put the SBEQ in the early spot or the last one?

I've never had 2 eq's on one board before, and I've never used the Fromel EQ. But I can say that back when I owned a SBEQ, I put it pre-dirt if I was doing any dirty chord/rhythm work, and post-dirt if I was using it to boost lead work or playing cleaner rhythms. The SBEQ has a subtle smoothing effect on the attack, and as a post-dirt solo boost it is truly a thing of beauty. But that smoothing effect was something I didn't like when doing rhythmic work with much gain, and the effect is minimized somewhat pre-dirt (at least that's how I heard it, ymmv).

Thanks for the info Joleo. I thought I'd run the SBEQ before my ODs so I could boost and tweak the EQ going into them. From what you say, that should work nicely.

I play all single coil type guitars and have run the SBEQ both before and after dirt. Having it before dirt gave me the option of blasting the dirt boxes with signal to act like a humbucker.

I have now been converted regarding compressors, so I now have an Effectrode Comp in front of the dirt for fattening/boosting/sustain and then have the SBEQ last (almost) that is used as a boost or always on EQ depending on my mood. My current effect chain is listed below and the { is my board }. I have the MP RRB there for it's buffer more than as a boost. I am still wanting to add a switchable buffer to my SBEQ so I can dump the MP RRB, but I am a bit nervous to do so.
