good idea ---- Im wondering if there shouldnt be some more pedals in there and turn it into a real Tourbox

Sounds interesting...and just exactly which "tricks or treats" were you thinking of(followed by ominous Vincent Price laugh 'o doom drenched in reverb)?? :laughing7

I"m interested to see what comes of all this SBEQ/Humper research :idea
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

Maybe a possible bjfe that may be resurrected as a Bearfoot could be added?
I have always been intrigued by the red and Yellow Van Halen stripped pedal I've seen on your board. Whats that?
I would definitely have some suggestions for the PH is it gets remade by BF or MP...maybe a switch to have 2 different mid freq. to choose from, stock and a bit higher on the midrange..or a pot to sweep..kinda like a parametric...pick where in the mid freq it goes from and too..lower to mid high midrange then have the stock control do what it does, adding more or less of the chosen freq hump. Just some thoughts
Man..we need a less expensive phaser than the MP. The other issue with the MP for me was just not enough effect...I would love something that has a bit more depth and intense phase. The tone of it is AMAZING...just a bit too subtle.
I hear MP is working on a chorus and a reverb! wonder if Bjorn has a hand in that?..just some thoughts.
What about the Little Green Emphaser? That is in the same style as the RRB, SBEQ and PH, tone modifier..sounds interesting...

I agree with jdandry. I had a Catalinbread pedal that had had a knob for adjusting the frequency from around 50hz to around 2k hz and a second knob for level. I liked the pedal in concept, but it was so stiff and present it didn't work for me, but if it had the same feel as the SBEQ it would be a fantastic complement to the SBEQ that works on Bass and Treble.

I also agree with his second paragraph.

If there was to be a tour box it would be nice to have a few of the odd pedals like the RRB, MR, MG (I can dream), BEEst, etc. I don't have anything interesting except a Stomp Under Foot Pumpkin Pi that works well into a clean or dirty amp and is very versatile. I just wish it came in a smaller/lower box so it was an easier swap with my Sunface.

Ha! Funny, I was already thinking the same thing before I shipped it you. Def w/ a pot to swing through a nice range of mid range, and yes the 2nd knob doing what the stock Humper does. I had a DAM Red Rooster, which is where i made the connection..a very nice pedal, and a much more useable concept to have that 2nd pot to sweep around and zone in on the frequency you want boosted for any given situation.

Yes, a 2-knob Humper would be an excellent compliment to the SBEQ. :pedallove

That was the very first Model R pedal - in fact it had no name .... the knobs just had letters under them and the middle one is R ... and it came from this Bjorn and Tomo and me behind the camera .... the Rrrrrr joke turned into what would become the inside drawings of Evas of the Pirate ....
