CH v. CH2

Postby rockeroo » Mon Oct 10, 2011 11:33 pm

How would owners (and previous owners) of the Cliffhanger and Cliffhanger 2 compare the two (in terms of gain structure and tone)?

I have a CH2 and am thoroughly impressed by its girth, raw power and flexibility throughout the distortion range.

Thoughts?

Cheers!

ok, well the CH1 is just a bit wilder and raw but has no EQ option --- the CH2 got the treble control and with it a slight overall haircut

The tone control on the CH2 is the 'haircut' .... you might also try the MP Stone Grey ...

always wondered how the Stone Grey compares to the CHII. I think i'll probably go ahead and buy one of tehse and do the comparison. I'm using MP anyways for gigging outside. Not much use bringing the beauties for a bumpy ride :)
