No, I’m not saying this because I have one to sell and want to augment demand and with it sales prices. Heck, I regret selling mine last year (and for a fair price, I note; not $500, $600, $700+!) and have been trying to replace it ever since.

Maybe it would be best for those looking to have all of us keep this a secret! :shh: That way we can help each other snag the last inexpensive EGDMs.

Wow... Well, mine's not going anywhere. Sad, though... I was really wanting to investigate the possibility of a second, four knob EGDM soon... Oh well. I won't have any extra gear money for a while anyway, as I'm looking for a nice lefty 335 in natural.

I cannot wait to try stacking the EGDM with a few others (like the HBOD recommendation). I do not know why I was so surprised, but the EGDM was very amp like. I know that term gets thrown around a lot, but I have an original 1966 VOX AC30 Super Twin and can speak with some credibility as to overdriven VOX tones.

Honestly, I have owned a lot of different BJFE drives, and I can definitely say this one is extremely usable. I honestly had average expectations for it and was really blown away after dialing it in. I cannot wait to try stacking it with a few others (like the HBOD recommendation).

Glad you're liking it, Mike. The EGDM is now my favorite BJFE ever (except for maybe the Model G, but it's close). But yeah, 'extremely useable' is a great way to describe it. You could pretty much use the EGDM for ANYTHING you would ever need OD/dist for. It's a masterpiece.

Someone asked about a EGDM on the Bearfoot Facebook page and got the reply."hold that thought"..and with a "wink" after it...sounds telling to me.

Thanks for all the insight y'all, it really helps! I wasn't able to find one for a decent price unfortunately, so I just got myself on the list (the wait is only 4-8 months at this time). Can't wait!

I did pick up a bearfoot honey bee, and I'm loving it...so smooth.

I find it interesting that they gave you a time frame. Maybe it is hanging around here, but it seems like few people are talking about new pedals. I think I am on several lists, but I haven't gotten a call lately.
