Hey guys, I'm looking to step into the BJFe world, but don't want to get ripped off in the process. What's a fair price for an Emerand Green Distortion Machine? I have tried to find sample pricing all over the web, but couldn't find much current information. Thank you for your time!

It's funny, a year and a half ago everyone was selling the EGDM for $360 and it seemed lots of flippers. In the last 4 - 5 months I haven't seen any and it seems all the focus is on the PGC.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'd love to get into the BJFe club (I've got a bearfoot model h but that doesn't count I don't think!) but all the EGDMs I see are 500+! Thanks for steering me in the eight direction, and hopefully I'll come across one for a more manageable price in the near future. In the meantime I'll just hang out and learn all I can about BJFe from you guys!
Don't sell yourself short. The Bearfoot line is absolutely amazing, and you could not ask for better quality. I actually preferred my Bearfoot HBOD over my BJFE version. It was probably just a matter of the subtle difference in components, but the quality of each was unparelleled.
Wow! The prices have shot up since I bought my last EGDM in the spring of 08. Unfortunately, I sold off all of my BJFe's, the EGDM was one that I bought and sold three times.
I am glad to see the Bearfoot line as a viable option to the BJFe line. I may have to hold out for the EGDM as well as pick up the HBOD(one that got away too), MH(one I never got to try), and MGMV(one I never got to try either). Not sure what the BeeST will be like, but that does sound cool...anything like the RRB? That was one pedal I really regret selling. It really was great by itself and made other BJFe's sound great!
I swear that I saw an EGDM with four knobs recently, is this how they are made now, or is this a one-off?

I got an EGDM about a month ago from custom-sounds (18 month wait !) and mine is labeled Volume-Nature-Fuzz instead of Volume-Voice-Dist, and I thought this is the way these are made today. 4-knobber would be interesting, but I find the trimmer to be exatly as described, set-and-forget.

That is kind of sad to read. The EGDM is definitely a great pedal. It was my first BJFe pedal, way back in february of 2006. I can't believe that I had three in my hands at different times and let them all go. If it won't be readily available or available at all coming soon(?), since I don't really rely on a Vox-ish tone much these days, I will let those who do have at 'em.
I should have heeded the advice of someone when we were talking about these when I ordered my second EGDM and HBOD that they can't be made forever...
