Chapin T-Bird. Ash/Maple tele style with Bill's own recipe pickups.

Here are the ones I play the most on a regular basis.

A beastly and beat up 1962 Jazzmaster that is amazing.

A incredibly fat sounding PRS 5310.

Another fat sounding guitar by local Austin luthier Chris Forshage. This is his Ergo model.

Jack Briggs Apollo with a spruce top, solid rosewood neck, limba body, and pups by Dominic Ramos.

As requested, here are my lapsteels that I use-

The vintage ones- L-R, 1953 National Dynamic, '46 Rickenbacher Electro, '35 Rick Frypan, & a '42 Rick Electro. All of these sound great.

Here are a couple built by California luthier Bill Asher of Venice, Ca. This first one is a prototype with a swamp ash body, flamed redwood top, and a rewound early 50's Rick horseshoe pup.

This next one is Bill's Ben Harper signature model with a mahoganybody and koa top,

My pine tele I spent last summer and fall putting together. It's super light with a monster neck from Fralin. I threw in a set of GS pickups and they sound surprisingly excellent!

My Wife bought me this as kind of an engagement present before we got married.
