It looks pretty close but the box appears to be different. Although IIRC the Elka boxes are no longer made so maybe this is the new box type? Anyone have any insight?

Here's a picture of my old one with the boxes I've typically seen. Note that the corners are much rounder.

I would say "yes" I just got a PPF that was built in the same kind of square corner enclosure. It's different from the 11 or so other BJFE I have ever owned, but I'm sure there is a something on a piece of paper somewhere in Bjorn's shop that explains it ;)

Yes there always does seem to be a reason for each and every thing the mad professor does :) No matter how minute the detail (check out some of the threads in "Bjorns Corner" for more info).

Wow! Over 650+ Honey Bees! That's pretty cool.

I was recently talking with a friend about the rarity of some of Bjorn's pedals. To get a basic idea, there are about 250 Klon Centaurs for every one Model G. The Honey Bee or maybe the Dyna Red are the most produced BJFE pedals, and even these are more like one to every ten Klons. Crazy to put that into perspective.

Obviously we don't want to be cork sniffers, but the limited runs of pedals are part of the huge charm and culture of BJFE.
