So bobby , how do you compare it to the BJF? Does it have that huge open sound? Post :)

Actually after going through the thread i'll probably get one just to compare it myself. Believe it or not, i've found the CHII useful at lower gain settings that i'd like to have a second one :)

FYI- I emailed PGS and they said the SGD will be available to buy sometime THIS WEEK! I've been doing the daily rounds checking PGS, Prymaxe, and Mad Ape. Mad Ape has had it listed for months now, but it says "available late 2011".

Nice demo as always! I can't believe how amazing that pedal sounds at such a reasonable price point. I'm not sure anything can compare to my CH II ( not even other CH II's:) ) but this pedal seems like it will get you 90% of the way. Congrats to whole MP team for knocking the ball out of the park... Even looks cool!

i would agree -- i know there is always just a little bit of extra "mojo" with a handmade BJFe pedal from the hands of the master.

but the Stone Grey is really 90% or more the same as the CHII -- it sounds AMAZING -- i really wanted to demo it with a really good amp and 4x12 cab, and thankfully George had some free time to allow me to come to his shop.

demoing the Stone Grey in my bedroom with a practice amp was not fitting for a pedal of this stature

i REALLY hope that a lot of players, younger metal/postrock/slidge/downtuned whatever -- who have NOT played mad professor before -- will give this pedal a chance.

i am doing my best to help promote the pedal.....and have sent my demos to MG Audio Sales, the new mad professor distributors for the USA, and Bill at MG Audio loved them.

i really want to see the Stone Grey be a "gateway" pedal for a whole new generation of younger players to get into Mad Professor/BJFe/Bearfoot FX!
