As a practical matter, I'm not sure how such a thing would be administered. Once word is out here, a) anybody, even non-members, could see the post and go to the BF site to buy and b) word would also spread outward from here like wildfire, just as it has with the previous BF releases.

Only way that I can see to make it stick would be to have an extra login step over at the BF site that required (temporarily) your BJFE GEC login in order to make a purchase. Now, that may be easy to do (I'm no techie!), but if it isn't or, even if it is, but it costs Don a lot to have pro set it up for him, I'd have to question if the perceived benefits were worth the hassle/cost.

I was thinking kind of a loosely managed "heads up" where, perhaps, BJFE members could email "I'll take one" to Donner before the BF site officially started taking orders. My best is there might be a bump in new members to this site.

At the same time, I do see where you are coming from on this. In no way should such a thing create a hassle or expense.

Ah yes, it would certainly cause negative mass histeria, I thought it was a joke but these internetz can dilute meanings sometimes

My vote is still really just to keep with the "no wine before it's time" motto although now that the question of "do you want to know before the release?" has already been put out there by Donner it may be hard to actually do that... In any case BF seems to be doing quite well so far and you know what they say... if it ain't broke, don't fix it

Man, I'm still crossing my fingers for a PGC or SBEQ. I've been on the PGC wait list forever! As these are such core pieces of overall tone, I'm really hoping we see these more widely available soon.

As much as I want a PGC I am not sure I will pick one up as I like my MP FGC cb so much. :liar

I would think that a PGC would HAVE to be one of the next two releases. With Donner saying that our feedback has influenced the release order a couple times, and people clamoring for a BF PGC wayyyyy more than any other pedal. I sure hope so anyway- I traded my PGC a few weeks ago. I'm finding that the FGC CB is doing a nice job as a fill-in, but whenever the PGC is released I will be excited to have another.

Wow ... my last post was in February of 2010. That's a very, very long time, seeing as I'm one of the "founding members" here.
