Experimenting with different voltages

Postby Joeleo » Fri May 13, 2011 1:58 pm

When you all talk of using pedals at different voltages, how exactly are you doing that? I have a Voodoo Labs PP, but it's a v1 so it doesn't have the Sag feature. So I can use that for 9 or 18 volts, but nothing else. I'd love to try some things at 12 volts and at lower voltages too, and all I can think to do is go out and buy a bunch of different power supplies at those specific voltages. Is there another method that I am not aware of?

Always loved my drd in the sag slot of the pp2. Lgw, depends on chip, but liked that best at 12v. Sbmv 12 or 18v. Always run my PGC at 12v. Anybody else?

MP RRB @ 18 Volts, EGDM, MP FGC, MH V1, DRD 12 Volts, everything else (MP SWAW, SHOD, LGW, MHVT, SBEQ....) at 9 Volts, but the HBOD and DRD can sound great sagged to around 8 Volts!
