Haha, thanks! I was pretty shocked myself. But I'll take it!

It hasn't been discontinued or anything?

If not then sorry, but that has to be emotional bidding out of control.
Seems like a couple of normal bids at about $420-$450 and those bidders were probably pretty confident of taking it.
Then BAM! $700... I honestly think someone might have made a mistake.

It's a great pedal though. :)

Unless 2 people made the same mistake I'd say that was all intentional. Killer pedal and maybe worth every cent to the buyer.

Here's hoping Bearfoot comes out with their own version... maybe one with 4 knobs so there's no internal trimmer hassle. Hm... :scratch
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

Such prices certainly imply the cat's out of the bag on the BJFE. My minimalistic BJFE pedal board is no reflection of my adoration and appreciation of his work, the Model G see's just as much "on" time as my Cornish pedals and the PGC remains on nearly all the time. I hope that his work is still accessible when I am ready to own more of them again!

$700+ for an EGDM... WOW!

wow. Never tried the EGDM but this is pretty steep pricing. Not even one of the rarer models!

I know there were a couple of threads on TGP where they wanted info on the EGDM and, as usual, I expressed my love of the pedal, its versatility and how it reacts to Voltages. I wonder if it was the same guys?
