Ha! Glad you like it, Donner. I've got an extra piece if you ever wanna party with it...
Rockeroo...
I'm still loving the blueSky. In fact, I just found a really cool ambient sounding setting on it during practice yesterday, that inspired a new song! That's all you can ask of a pedal, right? Anyway... Yeah, I've been a spring reverb guy for years... I've got two Fender outboards- one '63 and one mid-nineties reissue, not to mention several nice old Fenders and other nice reverb equipped amps. The blueSky can do a nice spring sound. It's not dead on Fender splash, but I like it just as good. Really, I tend to use the plate setting more than anything. I haven't used any of my other reverbs since I got it. That's saying something...
Regarding the HBOD and EGDM... separately we know they're amazing, but I swear something transcendent happens when they're stacked. It's just... Man, I don't even know if there's an adequate word to describe it... I guess "Ear Sex" would be the closest I've been able to get. As you can see, I prefer my HBOD first... I know a lot of you dig it the oppostite way, but I like this because it eliminated my usual need for a third, dirtier distortion or overdrive. I just go for the stack for solos, or when moar gain is required. Also, it suits me because I'm not really into the "volume boost after dirt" thing that most go for when stacking the HBOD
after other drives.
Thanks for the board compliments, doods!
