I have to give everyone an explanation... I think the Model G is amazing and truly a work of art. I am 80% sure that no one will buy at this price, but I thought about what it would take for me to part with it and $2600 in my hand would probably do the trick. So my eBay post is a little bit of an experiment, hopefully one I will not regret in a huge way. If it sells, I'm planning on picking up two more common BJFE drives and putting the rest into the baby fund (my wife and I are expecting our first in August).

There is Mr 50,000 buys out there, and this is worthy of his attention... I can't wait to read the freak out rants on TGP

Donnel Donnel! Don't know what to say. 2,600$ is certainly a worthy price for the pedal. I love mine as well. Would I sell it for 2,600$ ? Not sure. Its not that it isn't worth it but finding one again will be hard !

Donnel, congrats on the upcoming new addition to the family! Exciting times for sure.

As far as the listing goes, you have every right to ask whatever price you want without explanation. If someone is willing to pay that, then you just got almost $3K for a pedal, so you win. If no one buys it, then you get to keep your rarer-than-crap Model G. Nothing wrong with that.
