New guy here... HBOD question

Postby duaner58 » Thu Mar 03, 2011 10:29 am

Been on TGP for awhile and have owned several MP boxes and finally pulled the trigger on a used honey bee...Holy God is that pedal amazing sounding!!!

I really couldn't be happier w/ the tones I get out it, so so so many flavors and more transparent than my SHOD. I do have one question... Does anyone have issues w/ getting to unity gain w/ your amp?

I had the thing dimed last night in practice and when I would switch it off the clean signal of my amp was 10x louder... I dont' think thats supposed to happen is it? I haven't come across a thread stating it was a "quiet" pedal.

Please, someone tell me to settle down!

You shouldn't receive a volume boost when the pedal is off. Unity on the volume for most BJFE pedals (when on) is around 9 o'clock.

See, I knew that.... Shared the same power source as the rest of my board, all connections were tight..

How do I even go about getting it repaired then I guess is my next question? It sounds great at practice volume but then when i was w/ the band at higher levels there were issues.

Any suggests on that..
