Before Donnel sold me his EGDM, i used the HBOD with the Hot Cake with great results. I go HK > HBOD and get a tamer sound than with the EGDM, but less dynamic. I usually have the HK around medium gain.

I also like stacking the HBOD with the Catalinbread Fn5. I go Fn5 > HBOD. In this case the HBOD tames the Fn5, as the later one can get quite wild.

I have also stacked many other pedals with the SBEQ, as this one is near the end of my chain. It helps me control almost any dirt that is before it.

Finally, i have also used the DRD to impart its character into the Cusack Screamer with great results. I usually have the gain in the DRD between 9 and 12

Do nay of you have Barber od pedals? I have had some of their od’s like the LTD, Direct Drive, and unLimiTeD. The unLimiTeD was nice before the HBOD and the LTD before the DRD

Has anyone tried stacking the Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop OD with any of their pedals? I achieved the best "brown" results I have ever produced by using it as a pre-amp to my PPF. You can even dial in a 'modernized' sort of brown sound that is beasty.

Great splat-filled fuzz tones too!

Anyone care to join me?
