PGC and Gold prices going up

Postby mikepick » Thu Feb 24, 2011 10:15 am

Wow this may be the highest I have ever seen a compressor pedal go for. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MEWAX:IT Good for the seller. It almost makes me want to sell mine, but not quite.

The PGC and such a great compressor, it just sweetens everything up and adds a kind of sparkle to my overall sound. Its not a pedal that I use the often, but when I do it sure sounds great and I am not even an compressor guy.

I couldn't imagine what a PGC DLX would fetch right now.

Haha, i was gearing up to go after that PPF too, until i scored the Model R. Thing is, "mr. deep pockets" wasn't even the one who ended up winning the PGC sweepstakes. It was some other dude with 40,000+ feedbacks! Bonkerz...

The prices really are insane right now, :wtf:

I truly don't understand what dictated the dramatic increase, can anyone explain?

I think its just supply and demand... The supply of the BJF line pedals is small and unpredictable (ie. you never know when the next batch is coming). I think that the new lower priced MP line has increased interest/demand in the BJF's. There was a surge of people who were posting WTB ads on different forums. Then someone threw up a PGC on ebay with no reserve, and BAM bidding war ensues, prices hit an all time high. :coffeenews

Donner has hinted that Bjorn is working on a batch of PGC, so it will be interesting to see who ends up buying just to flip for $750 +! I am very happy with my FGC CB, but there is always the gas for the Bjorn magic! :pedallove :bjorn
