thesjkexperience wrote:But Donner, how are you going to build up a buzz about the pedal if there is no year long waiting list? :P

It is actually exciting on one hand so more people can get the real deal and not some JHS clone :clown It will be nice to have a second HBOD to take to jams since I feel there will come a time that BJFE pedals will be unobtainable. Kinda like the PGC & Model G :banghead I also never bonded with the Mad Professor dirt and lets just say other manufacturers of dirt just dont sound or feel right anymore.

Can you give us a hint yet as to how affordable the BearFoot HBODs will bee? We can get the line started here and roll it over to TGP with the buzz of a waiting list!

Unfortunately, it has already been rolled over to TGP. I was hoping we could keep it secret until everyone over here got their order in, but such is life... :boohoo

It's clear that Bearfoot needs a Marketing Director. :whistle

I'd be on this like a fat kid on cake, but I kinda went crazy the last two days picking up a Scumback speaker and two used fuzz pedals. I need to sell off two pedals and I might give the Bearfoot a whirl.

If I was a betting man I'd say the next release will be a SBEQ. That's what my gut is telling me. Slash that's what I'm hoping for :)

Maybe they are doing the most popular pedals.
The Honey Bee is obviously number one on the BJFe charts, but what are the next big sellers?
DRD? :confusedq
PGC? :confusedq
EGDM? :confusedq
SBEQ? :confusedq

As Pete Rose used to say, if I was a betting man, I'd bet on one of those :coffeenews

Yes BearFoot is the brand name separate from BJF - tho all BearFoot products will be BJf designed

10 pages already at tgp. but what inquiring minds should be asking is what other changes will we see :bjorn undertake... :music

if i did not get all caught up in that 60 odd page thread on tgp about 'did we really land on the moon', i might have seen this thread here, oh well, still ordered one.

model R should be next, just cause i really want one, :wave

Yeah, my interest was piqued in the TGP thread when Donner mentioned forthcoming changes to the BJF business model... I wonder what that is all about.

I think Sonic is correct. After 10 years Bjorn might like to do more "Research" pedals and put them out as $500+ custom runs, get feedback, and then depending on the complexity of the build send it to Mad Professor or to BearFoot. Where BearFoot would be the more difficult builds that need tuning by ear. Donner is going to be a busy guy! Maybe when my kids are in school Donner can do a manufacturing expansion in Boulder.

Given the recent demand for PGC it might be a good move for BearFoot to add that pedal next. Something tells me the cat is out of the bag on the PGC and it wont be a fad like the CAF was last spring/summer.

It will be interesting to see if BearFoot will tackle pedals with hidden demand like the Model R, Model G, AWF (or what ever they are called now), HBOD DLX, PGC DLX, etc.....
