Hi,

The below I put in another post July last year regarding Honey Bee on this forum and on TGP:

'I have in my signature an affiliation to something I don't know the name of yet:

I am in the process of launching a US operation that will produce some BJF products since I find I get less time and the mere fact that these will be made in USA will directly affect the pricepoint at which they can be retailed but not only that I'm also looking at various ways of mechanical construction that I feel will be good but that can save assembly time and that too affects retail at least within USA.
This is something time may be ripe for after ten hard years making pedals and lifting heavy weight in the marketing.
I think it will be good for many poor musician and I remember being one. It is utterly hard to try to live on your music.

What I'll further do is instruct exactly how I select components and how trimming is done so that some circuits like the Honey Bee that does require selected components to work right each time will be made just the way I make them. This is somewhat timeconsuming and will affect retail negatively but in total view retail will be competitive.
And this company will produce a product that will use the name Honey bee and that will be as exact as can be '

Today 2011 it's alive:

Have fun

In for one -- looking forward to comparing it to my BJFe HBOD :)

BTW you can order now there's a little shopping cart/credit card icon at the bottom of the HBOD page you can click. The site seems a bit tough to navigate at first though.

It says on the site that they are in stock now. I'm with you that I'm itching to know what other models are in the works.

Hi,

Bearfoot Honey Bee's are available now.

There will be some more models and some of that will be exciting. I would not like to go head too soon but like this announce when things are absolutely ready.

The range of models are such that don't specifically fit into MP line and there are also new MP products coming taking time so this is a timely step.
Another object of this is to make these as close to as BJF pedals have been made and I'd say I am impressed.

There were very many small details making this happen

However at this point I am happy to say that I am pleased with the look and the shape and also what is fun is that the paint could be matched by a motorcyclepainter who immediately pinpointed the shade as Pagan Gold and all these years I never knew ;)
I am also very happy with the sound and behaviour which is no surprise since these use the exact specified parts and some I selected myself just this once, while that is also worked out.

And so I am proud to say these are handmade in USA

Gentlemen have fun

The question is how long will it take these to sell out? Any bets that it'll be, oh, say 22 hours? Less? More?

Congrats on the joint venture Donner and BJ - can't wait to give the new bearfoot pedals a thorough test run!
