BJFE Custom pedals w/ CE mark?

I'm looking at a BJFE custom shop pedal that has the CE european mark, which I have never seen before. I'm wondering if anyone else has? I thought I'd seen something on that here, but my search efforts have been about as useful as my .009 strings (personal thing).
Anybody seen this?

Thanks. I'm guessing they don't bother affixing them to the ones they send to the states, but those sold first in Europe have them.

I was told that those are factory seconds containing Chinese Electronics and don't sound as nice.
