ok, got word the Hts that were sent have new trimmers and are heading out over the pond :thumbup:
I guess since the trimmer is bigger we can now designate these as HTs with a big T :mrgreen:

So, I was wondering, of the 13 that were released which ones had the trimmer updated and which ones kept the original trimmer:

1 =
2 = New Trimmer
3 =
4 =
5 = Original Trimmer
6 = New Trimmer
7 =
8 = New Trimmer
9 = New Trimmer
10 = New Trimmer
11 = Original Trimmer
12 = New Trimmer
13 =

I mean, good to keep a record somewhere :D

MHt #01 here :wave

Hello All from Thailand!

Sorry for my late response about MHt research.
First of all, I'd like to say thank you Donner for this great chance and yes thank you Bjorn for a great pedal and sending it directly to me
I'm really appreciated.

Please let me introduce my self
I'm a big fan of BJFE. I'm from Thailand. After I had tested one of BJFE ( HB ) for the first time a year ago, I have always been looking for another BJFE.
For now I've got HB , DRD , BBOD , EGDM , PGC , MH and still want to have another one, if I can find.
oh and we have many BJFE fan here in Thailand :mrgreen:

About My MHt,
After spending a lot of time with MHVt I think it's time to share my humble opinion here.
My main guitar is MotorAve BelAire ( semi hollow style ) and Maz18

I've got MH V1 and found it's too dark for my rig and The range of gain is not much different.
I have some problems when play in band ( not cut through the mix well ) However it's still a great pedal for me.

I really love low gain when I use guitar volume and mid range of V1 I think it's almost perfect dirt box for me.
And after playing MHVt I found the gain is bloomer , smoother and warmer. It also has a great dynamic but it would be greater if I could have more gain range ( more hi gain and can get lower )
anyway I think it better than V1 and I really like it a lot!

About volume clean up , I love the sound of V1 more than MHt I feel V1 can dial to good open low gain but MHt is not open like V1.

About tone control , it more useful than V1 when I turn to 1 pm it cut through the mix really good! not too dark like my V1

About trimpot , it's not much different from trimpot I try MHt with other amp ( JCM800 , Fender DRRI , Koch ) and I found it's not too dark for other amp but it would be great if trimpot could be act more.

I have to say I really love new version of MH :thumbup: , it better than V1 for sure and it's rock! I will send it back to Bjorn to set new trimpot soon.
and I have one complain to my Thailand custom

They cut my first custom Donner box with the knife!!! :violent1
I hope it would help for the research and sorry about my poor English.

Cheers,
Unn

Hey Unn,

Welcome and cheers! Try boosting the Mht with either the PGC at high volume low compression or with the DRD - I think you will get plenty of gain out of that set up.

Very cool pedal, I'm diggin mine!

Thanks unn! Great review. While I would still love to try the MHt my #25 seems to be doing fine with a Stratocaster when the volumes are higher. Not the best bedroom pedal! I still have my friends Bludotone "real '59" 4x10 tweed bassman and the MH is superb! Well, it loves all the BJFe pedals with the occasional disagreement with the CAF! :pottytrain1

I'm #11 - with the original trimmer. I turned the trimmer on full treble and actually like it even better.
