Pine Green on the way...

Postby williamh » Thu Nov 11, 2010 3:19 pm

Finally!
Gosh, I had a much harder time tracking one of these guys down than I'd expected.

I'm excited to be trying one out.
Unfortunately the honey bee is gone, so I won't get to try them out together, but I'm okay with that.
The Sweet honey just worked much better for the sounds I'm going for at the moment than the bee did.
I'm sure I'll end up owning a honey be again some day.

Anyways! I'm excited to give the pine green a run.
Hi, I'm Billy.
Tele, Maz 38, and an ever-changing pedalboard.
Stay tuned for Fox Holiday.

Great pedal!!!! One of my favorites and always on - literally. I mounted it to the bottom of my board since I never turn it off. Bisc helped me with good tips on settings - try with compression set around 11 as a tone sweetener and mild sustain boost. I run mine at the end of the chain but Donner knows these well - move it around for more discovery!

So now that you've gotten to know it a bit, how does it compare to your FGC?

I've got some bad bad GAS for a PGC these days...

it doesn't arrive in the mail til tomorrow. I'll let you know what I think of them compared to each other once I get a chance to try it out, though.
