In case you didnt hear ... the Pink Purple Fuzz is now retired.....

Like the BBOD there were some particular parts that are no longer available and rather than make a 'close' substitution or something it is no more, its pining for the fjords, it is in fact an ex-fuzz model :D  sniff sniff ( maybe there will be a Norwegian Blue Fuzz :D )

Right around the corner is the new MP Fire Red Fuzz that some of you will find very useful I think 8)

Eyefly ... damn, 24 months!?! I actually just scored one at Make'n Music yesterday (my second lucky BJF finding there in under a week). Sometimes it seems like waitlists don't quite work the way they are supposed to. I joined a D*A*M waitlist through a dealer and never heard a word the whole time up to the point when Dave announced that he wasn't going to use dealers anymore.

Donner,

Thanks for your help. Things can get confusing sometimes, huh?

The Warmth,

Thanks for the advice. I called Make'n Music a couple weeks ago and they didn't have any in stock at that time. They had a list and added me to it but I'm certain there were a lot of people in front of me.

Brad at ToneFactor is a great guy. He got me my HoneyBee, my first BJFE pedal, a couple years ago when the demand was high and the supply low. He told me at that time when I added my name to the list for several other pedals that he was expecting a bit of a drought on BJFE products. He wrote me back promptly today, as always, when I told him that they had been retired and said he would check to see what he could find.

He, like Donner and the others that I've dealt with in this "community", is always true to his word. One of the great things about dealing with this business community in general and this forum in particular is not only the collective knowlege base but the apparent loyalty and integrity of its members. I am most appreciative.

So has anybody here bought from overseas, and if so what are the exchange rates and shipping charges? Did it end up costing a lot more then if you ordered from here in the states?
