Absolutely! I'll try to take a "family photo" of the twins with MH MH and HBOD later tonight

Good grief. They're just pedals. If people want to buy them, sell them. You're not giving a child up for adoption.
Much smaller collection than the days of yore . . .

The problem is paypal and the like offer great buyer protection but not the greatest seller protection. Considering the cost of these I'm trying to watch my back. Maybe you can afford to be out $1k but I sure can't.

Although I didn't feel that I needed to explain myself further... I decided not to sell to either potential buyer because I was denied a list of references from one buyer (red flag for me) and know the other has a spotty track record when it comes to deals on this and other forums. Also note that neither one stated their intention to buy in the thread per my original post - what would you do in that situation?

you did up front state that you didn't want to sell them to someone who was going to immediately flip them for more. it's your sale you run how you see fit.

there's nothing worse then selling something only to see it on the block for more a week later

Trust your gut. Past behavior is the greatest predictor of future behavior. If someone is unwilling to give references, its a HUGE red flag. It's pretty hard to believe that the buyer has never bought a piece of gear before stumbling into the bjf forum. Most people on this forum are kind-hearted folks, but at the end of the day its better to be safe than sorry with folks that haven't built up a strong reputation. Best of luck with your sale, and stick to your guns! Those pedals are :drooling worthy and I am sure they will sell fast!

You could always require payment by money order and ship after it clears.
