Donner, didn't you mention something about this giving you similar HBOD feel for guitar? IIRC you said something along those lines.

Can anyone elaborate on this drive more? Anyone know how/if it works well for guitar? Or is this strictly a bass OD?

oh, well it was one of the parents of the Honey Bee, its too dark for most guitar rigs straight but has a cool grind with a good boost ...... would be a fun pairing with the new Red Booster :wink:

yes - those with sharp eyes will notice the 3BOD now sports a 'nature' control instead of a tone control .....

this is about as close as your going to get to a Bass Honey Bee :wink:

So the tone circuit changed with the label? I thought the Honeybee's nature control was pretty similar in functionality to the 3BOD's tone... just voiced in a different range.

I don't think I could part with my old blueberry, but it'd be worth trying the new one if the tone control had enough of a change.

little birdie said its a higher gain version based loosely on the 3BOD so its not a straight copy .... its its own deal apparantly ..... :wink:
