I've tried a couple different compression pedals both before and after OD's.Seems to me that the effect is more subtle before the OD and I like it that way. With compression, I don't particularly want to hear it but I can tell when its not there.
I run my EQ at the end of the chain for just the opposite reason. When I tweak it, I want maximum effect and I get that better at the end of the chain.
I tend to think of both EQ and compression this way. Early in the chain, they affect the signal, late in the chain they affect the sound.
I am constantly changing the order of my OD, fuzz, and distortion pedals but seems I always like the Honey Bee after all of them.
You have a monstrous task trying to get all those together not simply in terms of space but in terms of choosing which to use in a given situation especially with stacking. Good luck. You have a lot of very nice equipment so its not a bad bind to to be in.....
