My favorite MP is undoubtedly either the LGW or the DBD. I love that delay sound. Such simple pedals. The DBD has also a nice organic slap back delay. Really worthwhile.

How do you like the FRF? That one has actually been tempting me as well...

So far, I really like it. Like the manual says, its very easy to get a good sound. A lot of gain on tap, but very refined sounding, not at all harsh. Time will tell though, and I'll report back after some more time with it.

yes, we all seem to be walking down that dark path... in a quest for satisfying gear and tone... mine started with amps, moved to hand wired amps, moved to nos tubes (first RCA, then Mazda and Mullard...), speakers (jensen to weber, weber to celestion, V30 to Gold), pickups (stock to seymour duncans and fralins), cables (any old would do till I tried evidence), now I'm on the pedal push - remember when cool colored Boss effects satisfied the urge? My boutique experience started with Fulltone, then Wampler, then RetroSonic, then Effectrode and Eventide, finally, I hit deep with the TOP, and then started wanting to know who this "Mad Professor" guy is... Now, I am writting crazy ramble and checking tracking numbers on an hourly basis waiting for my next BJFE fix! Save us all!!!

Yeah I think we've all been there. Haven't really went into the depths that hawai has but man, i'm an addict, no doubt. In fact my next purchase may probably be the CS-40

More FRF thoughts:
It can do SWF tones pretty well, which surprised me. Also shocking is that it stacks well, BUT, I like it before the Honeybee...which is a first for me with Bjorn's fuzzes.
The reason being, that I like the FRF in its mellower modes ( ie. 3rd knob at noon or ccw from there), but it is very smooth and bassy, and gains some needed sizzle for leads when pushed by another drive.
However, when the nature is full clockwise, it reminds me a bit of a tone bender mk1, and then it works great into the honeybee, gaining some body and warmth.
The only negative, so far, is the noise. It's a bit noisier than any of my other BJF fuzzes. It gets noticeable past 1 o' clock, but that's way more than enough gain, so it's not a huge problem.
