CLIFFHANG...Blink, it's gone

Postby melodichaotic » Sun May 02, 2010 11:17 pm

Here it is, the elusive three-knob Cliffhanger version 2 for sale. In excellent condition. One corner chip, one blemish, NO velcro, no box. I believe only 9 of these were made. A great sounding unit. $685 shipped and PP'd.
I'd rather sell it here than on Ebay, so here's your chance. Not interested in any trades at this time.

Hear and see this EXACT pedal in action(Thanks Bobby):

Serious inquiries e-mail me for pix. Have over 600 Ebay transactions at a constant 100% since '99, and many references elsewhere as well.

that pedal is AMAZING.....when i demoed it, i was gonna compare/contrast it with several other high gain boxes from various other manufacturers.....but i could NOT do it......because the CHII literally KILLED all the others and made them sound like crap.

Marty's CHII is one of the most HEAVY yet articulate high gain distortions i have EVER heard from ANY company.

i REALLY hope they make a Mad Professor version of that circuit....

buy with confidence.......that CHII is 100% pure high gain goodness in a sexy custom painted box. i can't imagine ANYONE being unhappy with that pedal.

This one looks like a sweet sweet pedal. Somebody take it! I'd be all over it if I didn't have so many other purchases.

Good Luck with the sale.

B-b-b-b-b-b-BAM!!! Sold to the first taker!

Ok, you guys can rest easy(maybe)now. For Bottlerocket's inquiry, not modeled after anything in particular from what I understand, and to my ears very unique. Actually it reminds me of the best screaming tones Tom Scholz recorded on the first Boston record. :D

It sounds very open, uncompressed, and raw, voiced with lower mids than say the DRD, as heard in Bobby's video...a "sweet beast" if you will.
