Honey Bee differences!?

Postby OhMyDear » Thu Apr 08, 2010 3:45 pm

My HB is a bit more "dull" than others I have tried. I have heard that Bjorn made some changes to give the nature knob more top end when you turn it clockwise past noon. Mine is a few years old, #270 i think. Does anyone know when the changes did appear?

I´ve wondered the same thing. Nowadays my two HB´s (#005 and #032) sound slightly different, but not much. One time I owned also HB that was something over #150 and it sounded more different - more bassy IMO.
Anyway, love them both! They just have different personalities! :D

FWIW on my HB the treble gets less focused after noon (kinda like me) and is brightest between noon and 1. I suppose you could try 12 volts?

I had three different Model H's in my possession (not all mine) and two were very similar and one seemed to have a bit less focus and more distortion. That is the one on my board now. I wish I had the cash to have kept a second, but there are more flavors yet to try!
