Thanks for the link...I learned my lesson a while back, though I didn't ask for it when I had some off comments thrown my way in regards to a sale of mine. The couple of recent posts I left about the market was only intended to impart some perspective as new members come along(and I still consider myself new).
The community here is only as tight as the people in it, and what Donner said in the thread sums it up best:
really the worst thing is to sell something cheap to someone and have them flip it for more.... so really sell for what you can get guys, these days I understand anything, I may be there soon myself
as long as we get detailed reviews out of the initial buyer we really cant complain much after that
enjoy them while you have them .....
Two things...
1)it would be nice( but obviously not required) if members offered anything BJF here first prior to listing elsewhere, whatever the price
2)Just because you get a possible super high ending Ebay auction on ANY BJF pedal doesn't automatically make it the new value of the pedal...we all love this stuff, and BJ is cranking out these gems out all by hisself...let's try and not automatically cave in and promote this supply and demand dynamic.
FWIW, and without hesitation, I have either sold any BJF pedals for slightly more than what I paid to cover PP fees, and in any(and every) case when I made a decent profit from it, it went straight back to fund another BJF purchase only.
