Yup, the SYOD is awesome. Mine is the second version. With this and the honeybee I have stopped looking at ODs. This is all I need. The only thing I would really like to have is a HB Deluxe. I had a Model H for some time which was also amazing, incredibly dynamic, but the SYOD took over because of that 'sparkle'. Dynamics are equally impressive too. I play through a VOX AC15 and an AC30 which are quite dark amps. I have the tone on the SYOD at about 12 O'clock. The greatest OD pedal I have tried. Also , as mentioned in the stacking thread, fantastic pushing a Honeybee.

Yup - SYOD/HB combo has become my standard set-up stack --- I like SYV1 > HB now as much as EGDM > HB and SYV2 by itself is my 'daily drive'

I also really like the HB>SY1 for a different feel

and RRB into SY2 is a great 2 channel set up

I think both versions may be viable ~~~ as always it depends on what you need 8)
