$400? You can order a new one for $365 or so, and they usually float around the $300 range used. Granted, they disappear quickly at that price, but I would hazard a guess this one won't sell until the mystical Make Offer button appears.

I assume that is an older one, I've only seen silver writing, and a Drive knob instead of Dist. Cool.

I've watched the used market on this pedal closely for 4 years, and even bought one myself. Actually two, since I foolishly sold the first one. My initial post was merely in the spirit of the spread of information. I've never seen one go that high, and also there were a few new in stock at Custom Sounds just last week.

If it sells for $400, good for the seller! And the buyer. It's a damn fine pedal.

Dude, sorry for the confusion and any offense I may have caused. I wasn't really trying to accuse you of "hatin'". Your post merely prompted me to wax on, in general, regarding an issue that I see crop up in more virulent forms on different forums all the time and for which, as you can tell, I have strong feelings/well developed thoughts.

No worries, I understand. As a bassist who uses lots of pedals I occasionally have to deal with holier-than-thou types as well.

Incidentally, my number came up on the Halophaze list just recently, looking forward to that.
