Unusual DRD Paint job help?

Postby Johnson » Mon Dec 14, 2009 11:52 pm

So I just bought this DRD off a guy from the gear page, and I noticed that it had some green and yellow paint on it. The seller stated that it was original to the pedal, but I had never seen anything like that on another DRD before. I just assumed that the paint was a previous owners "creative mod," but the price was right so I pulled the trigger. However, part of me is wondering if there is a story behind this odd paint job that someone here might be able to shed some light on...Thank you all in advance!

Pete

PS
I don't know the Serial number yet, but the pedal should arrive in a day or two.

hehe, well the circle of life contines for DRD #214. I've traded her for a Empress Superdelay...it was a cool pedal, but it just wasn't my flavor of distortion. FWIW, those little yellow and green things on the pedal were little stickers and not paint at all (shamrocks and smiley faces to be exact)...but I didn't remove them cause I was scared that it would further damage the paint job. But none the less, i've been completely addicted to my CAF..what a cool pedal! I've been playing smashing pumpkins tunes non-stop since its arrived! Crazy high gain goodness!
