Donner may have been joking, but I've often considered doing this with two Pedaltrain Minis. That would allow at least 10 pedals, and reduce the duplication I now have in my two (large and small) pedalboards. Some gigs only have room for the Mini.

HEheheh -- oh no I was serious I used to do this and two of my favorites Gary Louris and Neil Young do something similar in fact Niel goes one step further and built in the mic stand to his pedal board

BUT- YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO GIVE THE EGDM ANOTHER TRY!!!
but then You already got a hard time makin up Your mind bout what pedals to fit on the board

i have tried it THREE times, and never bonded with it.


but.......i tried newarkwilders EGDM at 18v.......and it was RAGING.....REALLY good!

but i have to make hard decisions, and figure out the ones that i really use THE MOST, and it always comes back to honeybee and dyna red

DEFINITELY agree with Huckleboogie on the EGDM.
I remember talking to you when you were thinking about changing the Dyna Red perhaps for the Model R and the Model H.
Like you I kept the DRD Bobby but still have the Model H.
Great with the Vibro King and I think you're DEFINITELY a Dyna Red Marshall kind of guy.
Plus, the Dyna Red with the gain just on, treble around 2 and the volume boosted is a killer.
Now I'm selling 3 pedals to get either a Heritage 140- 150 OR a 137.
Caught b/w p-90's and humbuckers as a companion to the CS Strat and Tele.

I WISH my wife wired these up, (I went on to ask Mark to do the cables as moving them around so much
it was more durable for the long haul).
It would be good to have a mike stand in the middle,
I'd put a water bottle on it as a mid journey refreshament station.
(Just kidding) One's a grab and go that gets swapped out for acoustic gigs).
I only use both when for when I want to stay away from our drummer and bass player!

It's a habit I've begun if it's a small venue and it's a fun introduction and ice breaker that the player seems intrigued by and in most cases happy to talk about.
Mr. Belew played with his Power Trio at a small venue in Melbourne called the Corner Hotel.
He signed the pedal and my album of The Lone Rhino with one of his famous quirky art work signatures.
He also signed 3 other King Crimson albums.
He spoke about loving the Electric Mistress especially combined with fuzz and delay.
Said it's how he makes his "elephant talk" and "rhino" noises.
Lee Ritenour signed my BB Preamp and my original album of Captain Fingers and a DVD at the same venue and spoke of using that pedal MANY times.
I decorate my music room with the album covers.
Larry Carlton played there with Robben Ford in the line up too.
Only I couldn't drag my Dumble in that night!!! (I wish!!!!)
Just a couple of Mr 335's albums.
Now if Andy Summers played there, that would be the other"guy who owned the Electric Mistress as part of his signature sound!
Jeff Beck wouldn't sign anything, but Tal Wilkenfeld did (different venue).
If Sebastian makes it out here on a tour he can sign the Rocketride for sure!!!
I'm sure there alot more guys than me who have the player's signature tone pedal to have signed and it's just nice to look at the board and remember a great night while you're trying to create your own signature sounds!

Dr. John and Joe Bonamassa are playing there next March on consecutive nights.
Might just take some Gilded Splinters on that night,
or my Mardi gras Chief's head dress.
