CS-40 TUBES

I would like to find a EL 34 with good high headroom and I've heard about
the new Ruby EL34B-STR from a friend that got a CS40.
And he's very satisfied.

I do like 6L6's for clean sounds but I prefer EL34 when I add overdrive.
But I haven't heard a CS 40 with 6L6's...

Tell me if you have any suggestions for 12ax7 as well!
