My recurring dream:

I sometimes dream that the world is at war over the last decent germanium transistors, and that the world as we know it is on the edge of destruction because of this. Sometimes this dream includes that I have to kill a friend to get money and transistors, which I did the first time this dream occured. I will never forget the look at his face when I shot him, and his last words:

"EQ, I hope you realise that this means that no boutiqe-builder in the world will ever build a custom pedal for you.... Aaaaaaaargh..."

I woke up screaming and shaking. After an hour or so I realized how absurd the dream was, and started laughing. Still this dreams haunts me from time to time, but when I'm ordered to kill my friend I run...

Don't know if there are any pedals left, but I really felt I had to share this insane dream with you guys!

Ah...recurring dream I had one of those and it changed my life.

It started around '95 when I was living in Arizona. I just moved into a new house and about a week later the dream started happening. During the dream I would get thirsty and go to the kitchen for a glass of water. When I would get to the kitchen and I had a glass of water in hand, I would look out of the kitchen window and everything would start moving in slow motion. A 1938 Studebaker bus would drive by, the driver would look up and then back to the road.

Following this, everything would start back to normal time and then this crazy Beatles-esque hallucination would start going on,in a small frame within the window, then I would wake up. This went on for about three years. I finally went to ask a psychologist about it and he said that the window could represent a situation you didn't want to be in and didn't know how to get out of it.

Following this session, I broke up with the girlfriend I was dating at the time, sold most everything I owned, then moved to Switzerland where I have been living ever since. I later found out the girl I had been dating had a long distance affair going on...good thing I talked to that shrink! :D

My sentiments exactly. I haven't wanted to say anything because everyone just thinks..oh yeah.. newest pedal equals favorite pedeal. But if you look back at my other reviews, I just don't gush like that. Those other pedals remain killer pedals I really like. But I am head over heels with this thing.

It has some sounds I really, really like. I wish I could explain, but to be honest, I don't even know what frequency range this thing is tickling ... it just really sounds great. I would hate to compare it to other pedals, because it is it's own beauty, but it has tonal nuances that remind me of a family of highly regarded pedals, but it takes that nuance to a whole upper level. Hate to leave things hanging' but that's all I'm going to say ... you have to go play it ...that's all.

Dang, this is everything I could have hoped for. Another BJFE treasure to me.
