That's what it's all about! I design stuff with the intention that it will be used by a professional musician to make money with.

hope it's ok if i chime in here!
saturday i received the Folk Driver from Bjorn, this being the first european station of the tourbox.
i picked it up from the post office on the way to soundcheck of a bigger festival and plugged the pedal in. here's a pic i took at soundcheck:-)
really liked the pedal at soundcheck and ended up using it on the gig for some solo work and some "tasty fills".
i asked Bjorn to be part of the tourbox mostly on account of Slim's vid, where he compares it to the SHOD. there i noticed a very musical, vocal-like thing bout the Folk Driver - and found this very likeable characteristic to come thru with my own rig as well. i used my Vinetto Strat into my prosonic.
since i didnt have a lot of time for tweakin, i left the timbre control a little left of noon- in order to achieve a rather neutral EQ- and then just worked with what the pedal had to offer. with good results. its a very subtle pedal, more like an "amp-enhancer". no drastic amount of gain, just added sweetness and sparkle. i dig the simple control layout, but have yet to find out how versatile the unit gets.
i have to spend time to find out more bout the unit, but what i heard was very usable and fun to play. tomorrow i will do an extensive test. i can say already that there's less gain available than in a HB, and less saturation (like Donner said, the pedal's characteristic would maybe fall between the HB and the SHOD).
i think the main point is that i instantly felt comfortable and very inspired by the sound....more tomorrow!
