Very nice! Rootsy, stark, vibey, folk-ey--the chemistry is very present between you both, and the overall delivery has the right amount of oomph without being overbearing, strident, or calculated--very honest and fresh sounding to me. Yeah "da blues" can get boring quick--not the case here. Very nice phrasing on both solos!

no.....he liked my LGW.....but he made a conscious decision to stop using pedals of any kind. he plays all his guitars straight into the blackface super on 6.

but that's cool...because he can hire a guy like me or huckleboogie to be the "color" guy......they guy who plays rhythm and adds in cool sounds and stuff.

when i was playing with Sherman Robertson, i spent about half the nite comping B3 organ parts from the guitar, using an H&K Rotosphere.

sherman was the same way -- no pedals at all. he DID like my zvex SHO, and took it away from me

the LGW was a lifesaver. you can see at the very start of the song i reach down and tweak it. took that body knob almost all the way to left.....to help rid the silverface twin of some icepick tone

damon and i spoke last nite, i told him we have to do it again soon. he's in key west this weekend at the green parrot......but i am up here at hard rock cafe again. then i will be in key west mon-sun next week....so i will be down there the day after he leaves......that's life on the road.

hopefully things will move forward for him, his album will continue to sell, and maybe next year will be a summer euro tour. i will be trying to tag along for that one

bjorn said i could sleep on his couch, as long as i share it with robin the cat

yeah.....LOL......but, when you are backing another artist, you keep yourself DOWN until it's your "spot" to shine. it's all about making the artist sound better 8)

didn't want to tun that silverface super up too much, it was "icepicky" :|

thank you very much, but there's some SERIOUS players on here......and hopefully i will get to jam with some of them, like huckleboogie.....and BJ can play a little guitar himself  i AM gonna jam with him one day. and donner....

i can hold my own with most, but i'm still learning. Prof Tomo's DVD set is in my rotation right now, been learning from him.

want to get some of that amazing right hand funk skill he has 8)

but i appreciate the compliment for sure :D
