anyone got theirMP SHOD and gigged with it yet? impressions?

Postby huckleboogie » Tue May 19, 2009 6:30 am

just wondering if anyone has taken theirs to gigs yet....i would like to hear your thoughts.

i really would like to buy one, but I'll have to wait. had a fire in my appartment and right now it looks like i need to sell some stuff rather than buy sthg new. i look at my MGMV everyday, thinkin: need to keep it, need to keep it! damn, there's some other stuff that'll have to go first.

anyhoo, back to topic: live experience with the SHOD ??

Hi,

While there are a few prototypes out there and some of those have seen giggingtime, I saw today a crate of SHOD's landed at TGT11. I guess if anybody who picked up one from there would gig with allready it would be a gig this evening.

SHOD's shipped worldwide to all dealers yesterday. My guess is that Music Toyz would be the first to have them in US as they are located in Maine unless there is a dealer in NYC of which I don't know.

I would be most interested in any experiences too.

Have fun
BJ

mine's shipped, expecting it saturday or early next week if Sebastian's speedy delivery of my Asteroids Chorus was any good measure for the SHOD :D
My BJFE- Some special ones. Some standard ones. I love them all just the same.

ok folks,

let me know as soon as You got Yours and took it out to some live situations.
i decided to sell some valuable piece of gear in order to get me my SHOD. there's a tour comin up in late june and i'll have the chance to run it thru various amps. i'm planning to take just the DRD and the SHOD. should be a nice combo :D

oh, yeah, that SHOD into a Super will sound killer! i just got my old 66 Deluxe restaurated and i cant wait to run the SHOD into that amp.
it's greatest advantage, though (for me at least), is that it'll turn a stock RI twin into a boutique amp 8) to take 2 of those lil puppies (like DRD plus SHOD) in my gig back and sound killer every nite in mediocre backline situations....wow! thats exactly why Bjorn's pedals are compared to preamps arather than effects.
