Postby NewarkWilder » Mon May 11, 2009 7:44 pm

Got my RocketRide Asteroids DLX Chorus/Vibrato today!! I'm gonna do either some soundclip demos or something for youtube ASAP. Probably tomorrow night. But let me just say WOW this thing sounds AMAZING!!! And coupled with John's Lush/Seraph I'm just swimming in ooey-gooey modulation heaven. Its... (wait for it...) OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!

Anyhow...here she is!

So is this box a ground up build or is it a modded Boss chorus with added functionality?

Also Newark - how does it compare to the SBMV?

It looks nice!

Hi,

These are modified EH Small Clones, but to get the functinality and to increase longlivety of the units these had to be reboxed and outof those there are a limited amount handpainted units handpainted by Gunnar. There is also an edition with topsticker designed by Gunnar.

Functions are
Footswitch for Chorous/Vibrato (LED indicator for Vibratomode)
Footswitch bypass ( Led indicator for effect on)
Speed potentiometer
Depth potentiometer
In- and outputjacks are changed to Switchcraft
DC-inlet changed to chassis mount Marushin 2,1mm Barrel type ( Japanese standard)

Hm, I'd say this is a rather different effect than the MGMV- I think this could be easierly shown in a video than with words.

These are Rocketrides and so I have designed the modifications to get the desired sounds, but these modifications are done by the rocketcrew.

Thank you for riding with us and have fun while being amazing
