Rocketride SD-1 (first impression and vid)

So how does it sound? Well for the hearing impaired that couldn't listen to the vid, I'd say it sounds pretty darn good. The mids switch really thickens things up and I'm liking it best when I have the pedal dialed in as a clean boost. Otherwise the lower, "flat-mids" position just seems a lot more open and clear. The pedal sounds good into a clean amp as well as pushing some grind over the edge, which isn't always the case with many overdrives.

Has anyone tried the modded DS-1 yet? I'm curious about the Rocketride chorus also. I wonder when they'll be available.

Wow thats really cool !!!
I hope they get the LED on the Chorus to pulse the same way :mrgreen:

As long as it doesn't mysteriously turn off and then back on again like mine did, (at @ 1:30). :wink:

Yup, but the tone cap is a mellow old .022 wax/paper one. I have the tone pot only hooked up to the bridge pickup so I can better blend it with the neck which I prefer wide open.
