EGDM

OK, I'm really gas-ing for an EGDM. I love the cleans on my amp but it doesn't really get into distortion very much, but I'm happy with that as I can use pedals for that and the cleans are so good. Thing is though it's nothing like a Vox sound - it's a 6V6 and is more Fender sounding (but better for me than any Fender amp I've heard / tried).

So my question is - does the EGDM only work well with Vox-flavoured amps?

OK, one further question. Is the EGDM best served into an already cooking amp, or will it turn a clean amp into a distorted beast?

Can work equally well with both, thanks to the Voice control. There's more than enough gain to go into harmonic meltdown with a totally clean amp and plenty of volume to boost a cooking amp.
