When will Bjorn design a boost for MP?

I like to run "always on" boosts in my setup. Not only do they shape your sound, but they also help to buffer your signal through a bunch of pedals.

I was thinking that it would be awesome if Bjorn would design a "more" boost for the MP line. Something not only designed for a louder signal, but to add some clarity or EQ options.

Some boosts that I have a love are the Retrosonic FA-1 (Boss FA-1 clone), Durham Sexdrive, and Klon. I can't help but think that Bjorn could do better though!

True - I have one incoming that I will run for this purpose.

I'm just thinking a boost with some EQ options would be the shizzle on the MP line.

Yup an MP EQ makes alot of sense and there are some variations on that theme --- could do a Mid Presence that would compliment the SBEQ -- a good lead boost there......... or a parametic eve...

I was actually wondering this today... I'm thinking I need to build a rangemaster style pedal, and thought I'd read Bjorn's treble booster thoughts on here. That got me watching donner's bjf boost video on youtube and I couldn't help but think a booster (maybe with a treble/full range option) would be a good addition to the MP line.

If its a boost like the RRB that would be sweet. I miss my RRB from time to time.

I didn't know that about the Comps...I might have to check out a MP/BJF comp someday, after I get a 6G6-B.

BJ has done quite a lot of excellent "boost" pedals over the years, all with slightly different purposes, such as:

- Sea Blue EQ (SBEQ). This is a parametric EQ booster with some distortion (it boosts part of the EQ range). Most of you are probably familiar with this pedal.
- Baby Pink Booster (BPB). This pedal boosts the volume evenly across the EQ range.
- Red Rooster Booster (RRB). This provides a gain boost. The idea is to use it to push your system into distortion or produce a increased gain effect.
- Little Red Trebler (LRT). Think of this as a variable "bright" switch as per Fender amps; it adds back the treble you lose once you turn the volume down. BJ did a great article on this pedal here: http://www.bjfe.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=995&start=0
- Purple Humper (PH). This provides an increase in the mid frequencies (you know, hump your mids).
- Little Green Emphaser (LGE). This provides a pre-boost and adds level, some grit and an EQ shift between 2 pre-defined shapes. The closest I can think of is the Lovepedal COT 50 with a better EQ and less grit.

As you can see, all of them provide some kind of "boost" in its own way. If I had to take one or more of the above and put them into a MP pedal I don't know what I would select. In my environment I have found the LRT and LGE to be incredibly useful - the LGE goes in the front and the LRT goes at the end; mind you the LGE on the end is wonderful too. The LGE is one of those pedals that can be left on all the time to impact the tone, like the COT 50. You know, a graphic showing the frequency curves of all these pedals could be useful...
