Deleted User

Hi. This is just to let you know that last night the server for this forum accidently deleted me as user. Nobody knows how this happened but I appear to be the only one affected by this. Unfortunately, the end result of this is that all my past forum posts have also been deleted. So, unfortunately, every forum post from "mrpicard" prior to today will now be blank. All that past work was gone in an instance...

I just looked at this for sale thread knowing you had posted it, and yes all your posts are gone, but the date and time you posted it remains. A bit of scrounging around in the back end of the database might piece together a bit more substance of you, but I don't know if Big D does this kind of work.

But don't worry, I'm sure most here remember you!

yes its very strange -- there is no record of it being done in any of the admin or mod logs

What is even more weird is that since that date I now receive two notifications for every thread that I am subscribed to. I also receive two private message notifications as well. So, the underlying system somewhere has me listed twice. So, part of me was deleted but part of my past is a ghost here as well. That means that the underlying configuration files are a bit screwed up now. Hope that will not cause a problem...
