Yeah definitely, funny you mention the tele. I actually was hanging out with my brother yesterday and he had a '66 tele with him and I had my strat with the Kinmans. We ran them both through a '60 Vibrolux and a Two Rock Custom Reverb combo and the tele sounded really good......... the strat sounded insanely good. The Kinman Woodstock plus' gave it much more high end clarity than the tele, but not in a thin way. I always thought to get more high end than a tele it would sound shrill/ear piercing, but it's not the case at all, the extra output that those pickups have actually adds some meat to the tone, probably by pushing the amp more, so you get an awesome high end and a fat strat tone, the best of both worlds. Side note....the Two Rock is not a bedroom amp, at low volumes many amps will kick its ass, but once you turn that amp up holy shite it's a monster. The clarity of that amp when it's cranked is amazing, every detail of your playing can be heard and if you play rhythm, every note of a chord is clear and distinct. Of course the overdrive sounds good on it, since it's based on Kimock's Dumble, but what really impressed me was the clarity of chords through that amp cranked.
Donner, are your pickups the Kinman Traditional Mk-II's? I think the MK-II's are the next ones I'm going to purchase. You know a pickup is good when you buy another guitar just so you have something to put replacement pickups in. Another strat on the way
