Any Pac NWer's here?

Postby Joeleo » Sat Feb 09, 2013 7:53 pm

Hey guys, I just accepted my dream job in Portland, OR. I'm super excited! Moving out west in August. Anyone here from Portland, or elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest???

That's awesome! Yeah, Portland is our favorite city we've ever been to. This is a dream-come-true.

Ha! You're right, never been to Austin. Though I hear Austin & Portland share some similarities (as well as the "Keep Portland/Austin Weird" slogan).

Boulder has the same slogan. The trouble is all the rich dweebs moved in because it was "cool and funky", but they bid the housing up so high the "cool and funky" people can not live here, so it is now just a bunch of rich "progressives and closet republicans".

Congrats. I love the PNW. Portland is amazing, prepare for a huge bump in air quality. If you are up in Seattle let me know.
