That is one of my favorite stacks. It really gets thick without getting too mushy in a live mix. I really think the LGW is one of the most underrated bit versatile pedals in the line.

Yeah I agree. After this weekend's service, the LGW has jumped to the top of my favourite overdrive list. It's really amazing what can be done with it.

I agree. I think it is a mistake to market it as a modified Tube Screamer as it is SO different from even the VFE The Scream, which made every sound a TS can do, that it hurts sales. They could also sell it with 3 chips for easy user customization.

yeah, the LGW was my first BJFe love. It got me into this. Bought the MP version and all of a sudden I discovered tone! I mean it made my guitar come alive with my rig. Then i discovered BJFe. anyone who hasn't tried it should (though i've never tried the PCB version)

Awesome! Yes, I also agree about the Tubescreamer reference. While it is loosely based on the circuit, the LGW is everything I love about a tubescreamer (natural, amp-like overdrive) without the major drawbacks (loss of low end and total mush in a mix).

When I had a my line up of BJfe's I had this chain: RRB>EGDM>HBOD>SBEQ>TR-2>DL-4 This was a great chain for Alt. Country and Power Pop stuff. The SBEQ gave way to a Timmy at the end of the chain, though I feel like I had a sick SBEQ and didn't know it. The RRB was great into the EGDM, I think.
I'm stoked to have another EGDM to pair up with my D*A*M Red Rooster!!!
