Why can't every day be like this?

Postby MBT74 » Wed Jan 11, 2012 3:07 am

Signed up for the Bearfoot Research project. Had a BBOD arrive in the mail. Sold my CAF to a guy in Japan. Snagged a D*A*M Sola MkII Tonebender from an Aussie gear forum and then went to see J Mascis play a fantastic solo gig.

All things considered, yesterday was a bloody good day.

His solo shows really need to been seen to be appreciated. One man, an acoustic, a very loud AC-30, a Fender Twin used as a foldback (he ran the extension cab output of the AC-30 into the speakers of the Twin) and a great selection of fuzz pedals. He used a looper to great effect so that he could solo in true J style. The version of Get Me left me grinning like an idiot.
